In the European spotlight: An essential part of our professional healthcare clown work is learning from and exchanging ideas with others active in the same sector. Humor is universal, appealing to young and old alike, regardless of language.
No matter whether, it is acquiring new artistic tools, using different funny gadgets or more regional music instruments – all expands the scope of artistic expertise for the benefit of all patients when returning home. 🔴
Our 21 European member organisations promote intensive exchange of their healthcare clowns wherever possible, being also an important part of efhco’s mission in Europe.
Carolin from Cliniclowns Nederland is a prime example. She traveled in July 2025 to our member Sykehusklovnene in Norway, partnering with her Norwegian clown colleagues Roseane and Torunn, bringing lots of fun and joy to all in need of a smile. 🔴
