In spring 2025, the Theodora Foundation officially launched its 7th program, «Planet of Dreams», at
allani, the 1st Swiss children’s hospice in Bern. Following a successful pilot phase, Theodora’s healthcare clowns (aka Traumdoktoren) now visit regularly to bring music, humor and emotional relief to children with life-limiting illnesses, as well as to their families and caregivers.
Developed specifically for the hospice setting, Planet of Dreams offers magical and poetic moments tailored to each child. “These visits are incredibly precious and always bring smiles to all our faces,”
says André Glauser, allani’s Managing Director. “It’s wonderful to see how sensitively the Giggle Doctors interact with the children – often encouraging them to join in.”
With plans to expand the program to other hospices, our founding member Theodora Foundation aims to bring lightness, poetic care and smiles wherever it’s needed most.
