Oncology Ward for Adults
Our Croatian member kicked off during 2024 visiting a new group of beneficiaries – adults undergoing treatment in oncology wards.
This programme has shown us (again) that clowns have the power to bring joy and laughter to everyone, regardless of age.
Laughter and joy, especially during challenging moments of illness, help us feel better and gather the energy and strength needed for further victories.
Clowning for Children with Autism and Seniors with Dementia
In 2024, Crveni Nosovi introduced regular programmes for children with autism and seniors with dementia. These programmes came from the three-year ClowNexus project project, in which we worked with eight European clowndoctor groups to explore how clowning and humour in healthcare can help people with autism and dementia, strengthening their social bonding and communication skills.
Crveni Nosovi wanted to create places where people could be creative, have fun and enjoy art. The project was co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme.
